Pensacola Shakespeare Theatre

At the heart of Pensacola Shakespeare Theatre is a hard working group of apprentices, eager to begin work this summer. 5 acting apprentices and 1 costume apprentice will start work on Much Ado About Nothing this July, alongside professionals in their fields. The acting apprentices will spend their mornings in rehearsals, their afternoons working on tech assignments, and then back to rehearsals for the evening. Our costume apprentice will spend the first week assisting the costumer designer for Much Ado…, then will get her turn as she designs costumes for Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged). It’s a tough schedule to be sure, but not an uncommon one.
